Welcome to the website for Moorhouse Farmers Wind Farm.
These pages are intended to inform you of proposals for a wind farm north of the Eaglesham Moor Road, south of Newton Mearns. The pre-application consultation has been reported to East Renfrewshire Council and a planning application was submitted on 15th April 2010.
The wind farm is beng developed by Coriolis Energy and the environmental assessment was undertaken by Natural Capital on behalf of the prospective constructor, owner and operator, Falck Renewables.
Coriolis Energy are experienced wind farm developers with a good understanding of the planning process and an appreciation of the value of consultation. Natural Capital are a consultancy who were selected to carry out the Environmental Impact Assessment because of their independence and understanding of the nature of sustainable development. Falck Renewables are an international renewable energy company with a significant presence in Scotland and an innovative record in encouraging community investment.
